My name is Wesley Amores. I’m one of his biological sons that lives in the states. I took my recreational diving courses a few years ago but I didn’t complete the practicals because my instructor moved to Florida. I would love to get into it though! I work for the fire department and I would love to someday get into public safety diving! He sure was the best at the craft though. The biggest compliment I got from my instructor, who was his cave diving instructor, was that it seemed natural to me and I seemed to grasp it quickly.
I enjoyed reading about your explorations. I am currently living on Negros Oriental. I have cave dived in Indonesia, Mexico and Florida but not in the Philippines. I have been looking at the Mabinay area. It seems promising and is a short distance from me. Has there been any expiration in this area? Any points of contacts? I look forward to hearing from you.
Are any of Dr. Alfonso Amores relatives now involved in the cave or other diving business?

Hi Mike! We haven’t explored Mabinay area yet.
